Course Description: The NRA Basic Pistol class meets training requirements for both Ohio and West Virginia concealed carry permits. Material covered includes, but is not limited to:
- Firearms Safety
- Handgun Knowledge
- Ammunition Knowledge
- Handgun Shooting Fundamentals
- Handgun Maintenance
- Ohio/West Virginia State Gun Laws
- Written Exam
- Live-Fire Qualification
Equipment Requirements:
- Willingness to learn
- Note-taking gear
- Food & fluids
- Eye & ear protection
- Semi-automatic handgun (loaners are available for a reasonable fee)
- At least 100 rounds of ammunition for your handgun
